Just a few steps from Le Dimore al Vecchio Teatro, in the heart of Ortona’s historic centre, you will find one of the city’s most charming panoramic viewpoints. Around twenty steps are all it takes to be greeted by a breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea, stretching across the horizon from left to right.
If you enjoy starting your day at a leisurely pace, you can easily reach the viewpoint and watch the sunrise over the Abruzzo coast. At sunset and in the evening, the lights along the coastline facing the Tremiti Islands create a panorama that makes every moment truly special.
On milder days, the sea breeze and its scent drift through the streets of Ortona’s historic centre and reach our rooms. Thanks to our central location, you can explore the city comfortably on foot, leave your car behind and easily reach the main attractions, restaurants and local services.

The Greenway
For cycling enthusiasts, Ortona is an ideal starting point for discovering one of the most fascinating sections of the Costa dei Trabocchi Greenway. Here, you can cycle just a few metres from the sea, surrounded by the landscapes of Abruzzo’s natural beauty and along one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline on the entire Adriatic Sea. A route designed for cyclists and walkers that, for approximately 42 kilometres, takes you through natural landscapes, historic landmarks and unique panoramic views of the Costa dei Trabocchi.

“I’m giving it 5 stars because I can’t give more, but it would deserve ten. The kindness and hospitality were truly exceptional. Our room was number 2, located on the second floor of the building. It was spotless, simply yet beautifully furnished, very spacious, and had a small but functional kitchenette. The things I loved most were the soap dispenser in the shower, the coffee machine with pods already provided, and the makeup mirror in the bathroom. Small details that make the stay incredibly comfortable. The Costa dei Trabocchi is just a 15-minute drive away. There is also a breakfast arrangement with an excellent pastry shop just around the corner. And the property is only a few steps from the centre of Ortona, so everything is close by and there’s no need to move the car, especially since parking can be limited.”
